Introducing the Road Glide®

The default windscreen is a bit taller than with the Limited. A king touring pack that can hold two helmets is included, and the passenger seat features a backrest. The Special is available in eight designs overall. Vivid Black with chrome is standard. You can also opt for chrome with Midnight Crimson, Snake Venom or the two-tone Vivid Black with Gauntlet Gray Metallic. If you prefer the black finish, single-tone color options include Vivid Black and Gauntlet Gray Metallic, and two-tone color options include Black Denim with River Rock Gray and Vivid Black with Gauntlet Gray Metallic.
The Road Glide® Limited Is Right for You If…
If you want a motorcycle built on the Harley-Davidson® touring platform and with the fixed shark-nosed fairing, then the Road Glide® is a great starting point. Both of the premium models are popular because they have the bigger engine, and while that does not make a major difference while cruising, it does give extra oomph when passing other vehicles and entering a highway. The premium models also come with the stretched saddlebags and the upgraded infotainment system with the larger touchscreen. The king touring pack adds a great deal of convenience, and the backrest adds a great deal of ride comfort.
Performance
The Milwaukee-Eight 114 provides about 10 percent more horsepower and torque than the Milwaukee-Eight 107. As mentioned, this is not a significant difference at the lower end of the power band, but you will feel it higher in the range. Another point that often goes overlooked is the upgrade potential. The Milwaukee-Eight 107 can only be upgraded to the performance level of the 114.
Reflex Defensive Rider Systems
The base model and both variants give you the option of RDRS. This is a suite of rider-assistance technologies that engage automatically when accelerating and cornering in order to optimize traction. RDRS can make the most significant difference when road conditions poor, but it affects the overall riding experience as well. We recommend test riding a bike with RDRS to experience it.
